You may like to continue with your enquiries about the person you selected at the beginning of the unit. You could find out more about the regiment or ship, the place of birth, or the battle in which he or she died. Put together a scrapbook with all relevant information.

You may have a relation who died in one of the wars. Ask your parents or grandparents. They may even have photographs or letters. Friends and neighbours might be glad to find out a bit about the history of their family members. Your local war memorial will list names of people from your area. Start a new search using the name of someone connected to you in some way, and compile a scrapbook as in the first activity.

Be warned! Sometimes information is hard to come by. This can be frustrating!
