Location Information

Avion is a town 14 kilometres north-north-east of Arras on the road from Arras to Lens. From Arras take the N17 towards Lens. The town is part of the suburbs of Lens. The communal cemetery is on the north-eastern side of the town.

Historical Information

There are now over 10, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified.
