9.10.2003 The old part of this cemetery has been closed off by the Local Authority for safety purposes, and they are unable to advise when it will be re-opened. Access can however be gained with permission from the Local Authority (Fife Council) Burial and Cremation Office on 01592 260277.
The 1914-1918 burials are in a special war graves plot and the Cross of Sacrifice is on a centrally situated raised mound to the north-east.
A small number of the 1939-1945 War burials are located in the 1914-1918 war plot and the remainder scattered in various parts of the burial ground.
There are now over 100, 1914-1918 and over 40, 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site. In addition there are 2 unidentified 1914-1918 burials.
