Historical Information

The cemetery occupies 50 acres of land adjacent to the Kelowna Golf and Country Club at the base of Dilworth Mountain. Originally an Anglican Church burial ground at the turn of the century, Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery now pays silent tribute to the many different ethnic communities whose pioneer spirit built the city.

There are four First World War and 15 Second World War Commonwealth war graves in the Cemetery, the majority of which are marked with Commission upright headstones.
