Location Information

Mont Fleuri Cemetery is in the very large Civil Cemetery of Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. It covers a whole hill on the outskirts of the town in the direction of the airport. Turn right at Route Rochon Belvedere on the main road from Victoria to the airport.

The 1939-1945 plot, which has its own enclosure, will be found in the top left hand corner of the cemetery, while the rest of the graves are scattered throughout the cemetery.

The Mont Fleuri Memorial is also within the cemetery, and will be found at the bottom of the cemetery. This memorial commemorates men of the Seychelles Carrier Corps who lost their lives in the 1914-1918 War, and those Seychellois of the Pioneer Companies and other units who fell in the 1939-1945 War, who have no known grave.
