An award winning CD-ROM, suitable for Remembrance Time and the study of black history. It tells the story of black South African troops in the First World War, who sailed to France on the SS Mendi. 607 drowned in the English Channel in 1917 when the ship was struck by another allied vessel. Running time total - 20 minutes, but divided into 3 sections which could be viewed independently. For assembly or classroom use.

Narrated by Michael Palin, this 24 minute DVD documentary outlines the history of the CWGC and its work through the First and Second World Wars up to the present day. There is a French soundtrack version too, as well as the option of English or French subtitles.
