Heverlee War Cemetery, Belgium

Several branches have fallen from the oak trees at Heverlee War Cemetery. As a precautionary measure the cemetery has been taped off from the right hand chapel along the right hand plots up to the back. The Tree Team are programmed to be in Heverlee War Cemetery during the period 27th-31st May 2013 to inspect/risk assess/dead wood the Quercus which are outside the cemetery boundary.

Waggon Road Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel

Some renovation work is to be undertaken on the gate and the pillars of Waggon Road Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel. This work will be in progress until Monday 18 February 2013. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused during this period of essential maintenance

Enfidaville War Cemetery, Tunisia

There is currently no Cross of Sacrifice in place at Enfidaville War Cemetery. The old Cross of Sacrifice was removed due to severe erosion and will be replaced by the middle of spring 2013.

Cologne Southern Cemetery, Germany

Major renovation is being carried out at Cologne Southern Cemetery. Horticultural renovation is on going at Cologne Southern Cemetery, turf renovation is finished. The borders will be replanted this autumn.

Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium

Headstone replacement and re-engraving is now underway and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2013. Turf renovation will start within the next few weeks.

St. Julien Dressing Station Cemetery, Belgium

The complete renovation of St. Julien Dressing Station Cemetery has been underway since 22 November 2011. The horticultural work is expected to be completed by the end of April 2013.

Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium

This cemetery is undergoing complete renovation including the resowing and renewal of border planting. The renovation is expcted to take up to three years but will be complted in phases and no problems to access are expected.
