We have been informed that some visitors have experienced intimidating behaviour from a local resident when visiting this site. Please do not park on verges or cut across the fields which are private land or block any of the tracks.

Should you encounter any problems, we recommend you leave at once and file a formal complaint:

FRANCE - SUCRERIE MILITARY CEMETERY, COLINCAMPS

Renovation works to the chapels at the entrance have now started and will last till end of December 2016. Access to the cemetery is possible via the service entrance where a temporary register box has been installed.

INDIA - MADRAS WAR CEMETERY, CHENNAI

We are currently strengthening the flood defences at this site. Works are ongoing until mid-November and visitors should take extra care and avoid cordoned off areas as there may be multiple hazards.

BELGIUM - HUY (LA SARTE) COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Major structural maintenance will be taking place at this site from 4 October till mid December 2016. To enable us to carry out the renovation works in a safe and efficient manner 77 headstones have been temporarily removed. The headstones are located in Plots 1A and 2A along the boundary wall (see plan). We apologise for any inconvenience.

DELHI WAR CEMETERY

Work on a new roof for the Delhi Memorial (entrance building) will begin on 26 September and will last for approximately 9 weeks. Whilst the work is ongoing the Memorial will be scaffolded and there will be no public access to the Memorial. During this work access to the cemetery will be via the disabled entrance.
