Historic Flypast Over CWGC Arras Memorial Commemorates WWI Aviators

13 August 2014, Arras, France – A flypast over the CWGC’s Arras Flying Services Memorial by a replica WWI biplane, followed by Tornados of the Royal Air Force, will commemorate the sacrifice of pioneer aviators during the Great War.

Each year the Commonwealth War Graves Commission is represented at the ceremony of the relighting of the flame at the tomb of the unknown soldier at the Arc the Triomphe in Paris.
