Canadian Minister of Veterans Affairs discovers more about work of the CWGC

The Canadian Minister of Veterans Affairs, the Honourable Kent Hehr, has met CWGC staff in Winnipeg.

The team were in Winnipeg to attend the 53rd Biennial Dominion Convention of The Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada (ANAVETS).

The convention is designed to highlight issues which affect the lives of veterans and their families in Canada. Those who attended were given the opportunity to search our database for information on their relatives commemorated by the CWGC.

The Honourable Mr Hehr visited our stand, and took the opportunity to discuss the work of the CWGC in Canada and the Americas.
