Appeal For Relatives - Sept 2016 (2)

We're looking for relatives of two British Soldiers who were killed during The Battle of The Somme in 1916 to potentially be involved in a Remembrance event this November as part of The Battle of the Somme 100th Anniversary commemorations.

 

The details of the two soldiers are -

 

Private Archibald Wilson, Date of Death: 01/07/1916. London Regiment (London Scottish) 1st/14th BN. Born in Ayrshire. His name is listed on the CWGC Thiepval Memorial.

 

Serjeant Norman A. Wood, Date of Death: 28/07/1916. Middlesex Regiment No. 3 Coy. 17th Bn. Son of Benjamin and Kate Wood, of 3, Laurel Villas, Dunton Green, Sevenoaks, Kent. Born in South London. His name is listed on the CWGC Thiepval Memorial.
