Historical Information:	This cemetery, which belongs to the Stockport Borough Cemetery Company Ltd., was opened in 1838. The Cemetery is on the eastern side of Buxton Road. There are War graves of both World Wars in the cemetery, which are scattered throughout the site. Those whose graves are not marked by headstones are also named on a Screen Wall alongside the Stockport Crematorium Memorial which is also located in this cemetery.
