The casualty figures for German forces between 13 October and 24 November (in operations between La Bassée to the sea) have been calculated as 123,910. However, the figure for German casualties for the German defined Battle of Lille (15 - 28 October), Battle of the Yser (18 October - 30 November) and Battle of Ypres (30 October - 24 November) are quoted in the British Official History as: 134,315.
