Oegstgeest is a large village 2 kilometres north-west of Leiden and 17 kilometres north-east of the Hague. The churchyard is on the north-eastern outskirts of the town in Dorpstraat, adjacent to the Protestant church. The Commonwealth war graves are in the north-eastern corner of the churchyard, to the left of the church.
Oegstgeest Protestant Cemetery contains 17 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, most of them airmen.
