Shimla can be access by a daily flight from Delhi(currently not operational). Train service is available from Delhi till Kalka Station, which lies on the foothills, then a 4 hours road journey. Take the KUNLOG BYPASS when entering Simla from the National Highway. This bypass starts as an off-shoot from the Himachal Pradesh Tourist Office on the NH 22.The cemetery is near the fork which leads to CPRI(central potato research) and on a hairpin bend. There are two parts of this cemetery on the upper and lower parts of this road. The WW-1 graves are in the upper cemetery. The hairpin bend is about 600m from a Rotary Club cremation centre on the bypass road. The cemeteries originally existed together as one cemetery until the state govt. constructed a bypass road through it and presumably many graves were lost and the access/entrance/steps to this cemetery was also lost.
