Curragh Military Cemetery is situated on the eastern side of Curragh Military Camp, 3 miles south-west from Newbridge, and 4 miles south-east from Kildare.
Curragh Military Camp was the largest in Ireland, the cemetery was last used in 1922. There are 103 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war here, scattered throughout the cemetery, of soldiers who died in the camp.
