Visiting Information

By car From the A90 heading north towards Forth Road Bridge, just before the bridge exit onto major circle. Take the second exit A8000 Ferrymuir Road signposted towards Queensferry. After 200mts (opposite shopping centre on right hand side )take first exit on roundabout onto B907 Kirkliston Road . Almost directly following this exit turn left into Ferrymuir Lane ( a narrow road) passing several houses the cemetery entrance is at the end of the lane. By Public transport Trains from Edinburgh and Fife stop at Dalmeny Railway Station. It is a short taxi journey from the station to the cemetery. There is also a bus service a bus stop is located on Kirkliston Road.

History Information

Dalmeny and South Queensferry Cemetery contains 180 First World War burials, almost all of them naval. There are also eight burials of the Second World War.
