Son of Walter Edward and Ethel Mary Lawrence, of Eastbourne, Sussex.

NB.

This individual is currently commemorated on the Alamein Memorial. However, recent research has shown that this is not the correct commemoration location. The Commission is working to add Flying Officer Lawrence to the Malta Memorial, the appropriate place of commemoration. In the meantime, his name will remain on the Alamein Memorial until such time as the panels are replaced during regular maintenance work. Please contact the Commission for further information.
