ADDITIONAL UK EVENTS

BALFRON'S HISTORIC KIRKYARD

The guided tour by Pat Thomson our family history expert will begin at Balfron War Memorial (G63 0NY) at 2pm on Thursday 26th May and on to the kirkyard for insight into the history of many of the graves – not only the military ones. Even in May, participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing as Balfron is famous for its four seasons in one day climate. Although free, for comfortable numbers it should be pre-booked.

BOOK BALFRON'S HISTORIC KIRKYARD TOUR

St ANDREW'S CHURCH, CALSTOCK, CORNWALL PL18 9SG

Display from 21 - 28 May on the War Graves and memorials in the churchyard (open throughout War Graves Week).

There will be a display inside the church giving information about the men commemorated, either in CWGC graves or on family graves, the church will be open from 10 - 4.00 daily. There will also be a poster in the church porch showing the locations of the graves which will be open during daylight hours.
