Come along for an interactive 'Eye Spy a War Hero' at Weston Mill Cemetery, exploring casualties from WW2 and the Plymouth Blitz.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) look after the graves and memorials of around 1.7 million Commonwealth causalities from World War One and Two across the World. A large number of these casualties are commemorated across Plymouth. Come and explore some of those we care for at Weston Mill Cemetery. We'll look at some of those we commemorate and look for specific casualties using clues - a war hero eye spy.
Pre-booking required. This event is designed for children aged 5-12. All materials will be provided. The event will be fully compliant with the latest Covid-19 restrictions.
Please come with suitable footwear for walking on uneven surfaces and a waterproof if the weather looks a bit damp. There is plenty of parking at the cemetery and we'll meet by the main car park close to the chapel.
