Son of Joseph and Mary Corr; husband of Jennie Corr, of Lancaster. Joseph was born in Antrim in 1917 and was a regular soldier. He married Jennie Thompson, a mental health nurse from Ryelands Road Lancaster in July 1945.

He was killed whilst out cycling in October 1945.
