Born on December 29th 1920 to Pte Christopher Howard (Veteran of the Lincolnshire Regiment) & Alice Maud Daisy Howard. He married in April 1941 to Gladys Gregory.
Christopher came ashore at Juno beach at some point in June 44 as part of 4th Div. Sigs.
On July 17th 1944, whilst travelling on a military motorcycle, Christopher and a passenger hit an enemy mine. The passenger survived but Christopher succumbed to his injuries, he is buried at Bayeux War Cemetery.
