Private Walter Thomas Pinner G/2347, 12th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment

Walter was born on July 20th 1878 to Henry James Pinner and Elizabeth Roberts. He married on February 26th 1902 to Alice Louisa Lynes.
In 1914, Walter joined the Middlesex Regiment and was assigned to 12th Battalion, he fought at the Somme where on September 26th 1916 he was killed following the British assault at Thiepval Ridge that day. He is commemorated at the Thiepval Memorial (Main Photograph). I have attached below his attestation.
