The stories behind the faces
Read some of the stories of the people we commemorate.
The Foundation engages young people and the wider community in the story of our common sacrifice and shared history.
By supporting the Foundation you will enable it to fund educational initiatives, an intern programme and community activities helping develop our young peoples skills - creating our ambassadors of the future.
The CWGF is an independent charity registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales (charity number 1171947).
By supporting the foundation you will enable it to fund education and activities which will capture the public imagination, and highlight the work the CWGC does.
Your support enables us to fund educational resources and our interns programme. Introduced in 2017 the Commission Intern Programme brings 24 young people each year to Western Europe to work at some of the Commission’s most iconic sites.
