Location information

Dunure cemetery is close to the village of Dunure in South Ayrshire. The cemetery adjoins the main coastal road - the A719 Ayr Road. The entrance is one mile south from the junction to the village on the main road. There is a good parking area adjoining the road which can be used when visiting this location.

History information

The cemetery contains a 1939-1945 special war graves plot in which a Cross of Sacrifice has been erected in this plot.

There are now nearly 50, 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site. One of these is unidentified.
