Location Information
Guidel is a village 60 kilometres west-north-west of Vannes and 10 kilometres north-west of Lorient. It lies 2 kilometres off the Lorient-Quimperle Road. The cemetery is on the north-eastern side of the village on the road to Gestel
Visiting Information
JULY 2012 : Guidel Communal Cemetery-Morbihan will be undergoing turf renovation from the beginning of August and will continue for 2 months. Access to headstones will be on bare soil during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period.
Historical Information
There are now over 100, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified.
