Glorieux French National Cemetery is on the west side of the Verdun on the road to the Fort de la Chaume.

History information

The 400,000 French lives lost in the defence of Verdun during the First World War are recalled by the three French National Cemeteries in the commune, the many that surround it, and the Lantern and great ossuary of Douaumont. Glorieux French National Cemetery contains more than 3,500 graves. Among them are two Commonwealth burials of the First World War.
