Burial service for Private William James Meager, 16th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment and two unknown soldiers

A burial service for Private William James Meager, 16th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment KIA 18 August 1917, and two unknown soldiers will take place at 10.30am (local time) on 27 September 2023 at CWGC Poelcapelle British Cemetery, Belgium.

Private Meager died on 18 August 1917 and was previously commemorated on the CWGC Tyne Cot Memorial.

CWGC will soon mark his recently identified grave with a Commission headstone and will care for it in perpetuity.
