Rededication service for Captain Vivian Hastings Clay will be held at CWGC’s Warlencourt British Cemetery

A rededication service will be held for Captain Vivian Hastings Clay at 15.30 pm (local time) at Warlencourt British Cemetery.

Captain Clay served with the Wiltshire Regiment and was killed in action on 18 October 1916.

CWGC will install a headstone bearing his name and personal inscription chosen by his family, and care for his grave in perpetuity.

The service has been organised by the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
