Rededication service for Second Lieutenants Alan Thompson Watt Boswell and Robert Percy Gundill will be held at CWGC’s Duhallow A.D.S. Cemetery, Belgium

A rededication service will be held for Second Lieutenant Alan Thompson Watt Boswell and Second Lieutenant Robert Percy Gundill at 11.15 am (local time) at Duhallow A.D.S. Cemetery.

Second Lieutenants Boswell and Gundill both served in 108th Squadron, Royal Air Force, were killed in action on 2 October 1918, and lay buried side by side.

Their graves have now been identified, enabling CWGC to install a headstone for each casualty bearing their names alongside personal inscriptions chosen by their respective families.

The service has been organised by the British Ministry of Defence’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by family members, Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Please note, ceremonies are subject to Covid-19 regulations (British and local) and may be liable to cancellation or amendment at short notice.
