Rededication service for Serjeant Arthur Harry Morton will be held at CWGC’s Cojeul British Cemetery

A rededication service will be held for Serjeant Arthur Harry Morton at 10.30 am (local time) at Cojeul British Cemetery, St. Martin-sur-Cojeul.

Serjeant Morton served with the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and was killed in action on 9 April 1917.

CWGC will install a headstone bearing his name and personal inscription chosen by his family, and care for his grave in perpetuity.

The service has been organised by the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
