Location Information

St. Nazaire is a coastal town in the Department of the Loire-Atlantique, 65 kilometres west of Nantes and 124 kilometres south-west of Rennes.
The Commonwealth War Graves Plot lies within the grounds of the Communal Cemetery, which is not far from the railway and bus station. Head west on Bd Willy Brandt toward Bd in the direction of 'Toute-Aide', turn left on boulevard Paul Perrin. Keep right at the fork and continue onto Boulevard Victor Hugo.

Historical Information

There are now over 80, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Four of the British graves, now among the French, came from ST. NAZAIRE AMERICAN CEMETERY.
