Location information

Access by car Yellowhead Trail (Highway 16), and exit south on 97th Street. Turn west on 124th Avenue. The cemetery will be on your right.

Visiting information

The cemetery grounds are open for visitation from sunrise to sunset. The on site cemetery office is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

History information

During the 1939-1945 War, Canadian Infantry troops were stationed at Edmonton; No.13 Vocational Training School was set up; and the airfield formed a link in the North-West Staging Route.

Most of the war graves lie in Blocks 206 and 208. The cemetery also contains a Cross of Sacrifice.

There are now 5, 1914-1918 and over 70, 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site.
