History information

This Protestant burial ground is situated 0.25 mile (100 m) east of a long bridge which spans Achill Sound and connects Achill Island with the Curraun Peninsula. There are 11 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, towards the back of the churchyard. Of these, 7 are unknown Merchant seamen.
