Location information

Dongjum, a village in the commune of Franekeradeel, is 13 kilometres north-east of Harlingen and about 22 kilometres west-north-west of Leeuwarden. It lies 3 kilometres north of the town of Franeker which is on the main road between Harlingen and Leeuwarden. The church with its surrounding churchyard is on the the eastern edge of the village. The grave is close to the entrance.
