Location information

Hemelumer-Oldeferd is the administrative title of a commune which controls ten villages, of which Koudum is the principal. Koudum is 10 kilometres north-east of Staveren, and 40 kilometres south of Harlingen. The cemetery is on the southern outskirts of the village, 100 metres west of the road to Bakhuizen. On its western boundary are the graves of 4 airmen, three from the United Kingdom and one from Canada.
