Location information
Akkrum is a village in the Boornsterhem Municipality, in the province of Friesland in the north of the Netherlands. It is situated approximately 18 kilometres east of Sneek and 13 kilometres north of Heerenveen. The cemetery is on the eastern outskirts of the village and the graves of 3 Canadian airmen are located by taking the central path and then the 3rd path on the right.
