Linne is a village in the province of Limburg, 6 kilometres south-south-west of Roermond and 800 metres west of the main road from Roermond to Sittard. The church stands on a high plateau on the north-western outskirts of the village, and against the east wall of the churchyard, near the entrance, are the graves of 2 Canadian airmen, marked by a private memorial.
