History information

ILFORD (BUCKINGHAM ROAD) CEMETERY, on the South side of St. Mary's Churchyard, was made in 1881. It contains 53 War Graves of the 1914-18 War and 29 from the 1939-45 War. A Cross of Sacrifice is erected opposite the entrance, with a screen wall bearing the names of 28 (13 of the 1914-18 war and 15 of the 1939-45 war) whose graves are not marked by headstones.
