Location information
Kuala Kangsar is a small rural town on the Sungei Perak (River Perak), 31 miles North of Ipoh. The cemetery lies immediately behind the Government Rest House on Jalan Bukit Chandran, close to the river bank. It is a very small cemetery containing only 16 non World War service burials. 15 of these were killed in action in the Perak War of 1876-1877. Three of the headstones are unusually large crosses and there is a large memorial naming all who are buried here.
