Famous Sportsmen Headstones, athletics: Captain W Halswell in Royal Irish Rifles Graveyard, Laventie, France. The first Briton to win gold, silver and bronze medals in individual Olympic events, winning gold at the 1908 Olympics in the 400 metres.
