A rededication service will be held for Second Lieutenant Henry George Pike at 9.30 am (local time) at Larch Wood (Railway Cutting) Cemetery.

Second Lieutenant Pike served with the 65th Squadron, Royal Air Force and was killed in action on 30 August 1918.

His grave has now been identified, enabling CWGC to install a new Commission headstone bearing his name.

The service has been organised by the British Ministry of Defence’s Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and will be attended by Defence Staff, Regimental representatives, CWGC staff and local dignitaries. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Please note, ceremonies are subject to Covid-19 regulations (British and local) and may be liable to cancellation or amendment at short notice.
