Location information

The cemetery is in the extreme south of the territory, 24 kilometres North-East of Sandfontein. From the Karasburg-Onseepkans road turn into the main street past the first church, then turn right on to the track which leads to the cemetery.

History information

There are seventeen Commonwealth burials and a memorial stone commemorating five who have no known graves. All but one grave were brought in after the armistice. Thirteen are graves of men killed at the battle of Sandfontein on 26 September 1914 and originally buried there and the memorial stone commemorates five who were killed in the same battle.
