Location information

The cemetery is situated 3kms from the town centre on the right hand side of the "Route de Casablanca". On top of the gate is inscribed in large letters the word PAX. The Commission graves can be found to the left on the main alley approximately 70 metres beyond the French War Memorial, itself in the centre of the cemetery.

Visiting information

Opening times:

Daily 8.00am to 5.00pm. The French speaking cemetery caretaker lives on site and is on hand to provide any assistance necessary to visitors.

History information

American troops landed in Morocco in November 1942 at the beginning of the Allied campaign in north-west Africa. Rabat European Cemetery contains nine Commonwealth burials of the Second World War.
