Location information

Soulac-sur-Mer is a town and commune some 86 kilometres north-west of Bordeaux, on the main road from Bordeaux to the top of the peninsula formed by the estuary of the River Gironde. The cemetery is north of the town, on the western side of the main road to Le Verdon-sur-Mer, in that part of the commune known as "des Olives", and is locally known as "Cimetiere des Olives". There are four British war graves in this burial ground, in section "Z" which is approximately in the middle of the cemetery. Here rest one sailor (unidentified), two soldiers and one airman belonging to the forces of the United Kingdom.
