Kinsale lies 18 miles (29 km) south of Cork and the graveyard is situated on the west side of the town.

History information

There are 14 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war here. 12 of these are men of the Connaught Rangers, whose names are inscribed on a single Special Memorial near the entrance. There is also 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, but his grave cannot now be identified and he is commemorated by a Special Memorial headstone.
