History information

The cemetery contains war graves of both world wars. In addition to the 1939-1945 service burials, the cemetery also contains the grave of an ex-serviceman whose death was not due to war service. This is in a group of war graves lying behind the chapels, on the right hand (western) side of the pathway. There are now nearly 20, 1914-1918 and nearly 40, 1939-1945 war casualties commemorated in this site.
