Visiting information

This cemetery is located within a very high security Army Training Centre, making access very difficult for civilians and non-Indian nationals. Visitors requesting access to Agra Cantonment Cemetery should approach the Military Police, who will be on guard at the Army Training Centre. They should then ask to be taken to the Station Commander’s Office, where they can request a security pass, to enter. An interview will then take place, and ID documents will be checked. Visitors can only then be given access to the Cemetery at the discretion of the Station Commander. Please note that any non-Indian serving/retired personnel will not be allowed into any Cantonment areas, and a restriction to this effect will be stamped on their India Visa.

Most of the graves are located in the right hand side of the cemetery as you enter from the main entrance gate. The rest are scattered in small numbers throughout the cemetery. All the CWGC graves have steel tags marked ‘CWGC’ behind the grave marker.
