Location information

There are no airports in Ahmednagar. Trains from Pune to Ahmednagar are available on advance reservation. The cemetery is about 30 minutes drive from Ahmednagar Railway Station. Auto rickshaws and local taxis are available outside the railway station. Pune to Ahmednagar is 3 hours by road. Ahmednagar Cemetery is also locally known as ‘British Cemetery’. The cemetery is on Burhan Nagar Road, opposite the Octroi check post. The nearest landmark is the Damadi Masjid, which can be found on Google Maps. The cemetery is about 2 kms from Christ Church, Ahmednagar.

Visiting information

The CWGC graves are mostly located in Plot J.J. which is on the left hand side as you enter from the main gate. The other graves are located in Plot C.C., Plot D.D., Plot F.F and Plot I in smaller numbers.
