Location information

Suippes is a commune 45 kilometres east of Reims. Suippes French National Cemetery is on the east side of the Communal Cemetery, on the Souain-Perthes-les-Hurlus. The one Commonwealth war grave from the 1914-1918 war is located on the second path on the left, on the 17th double row.

History information

Suippes French National Cemetery was begun in 1915. It now contains 4,500 French war graves (in addition to 155 in the adjoining communal cemetery) among which is one Commonwealth burial of the First World War.
